Five players to watch at the RBC Canadian Open

After a very fun week at the British Open and with only two of the worlds top-10 golfers, the RBC Canadian Open does not feature the big star-studded field of years past.  But of the 156 players competing for a purse of 5.2-million Thursday morning, there still are some big/popular names.  Here ten of those players to watch this week.

Ernie Els: “The Big Easy” rose to No. 15 in the world after his amazing win at the Open last weekend.

Jim Furyk: With his unorthodox swing has won this event twice, including in 2006 on this course.

Webb Simpons: Ranked No. 5 in the world, and the 2012 U.S. Open champion is the top ranked player in the field.

Matt Kuchar: Kuchar is No. 9 in the world and has seven top-10 finishes at The Players Championship.

John Daly: With his loud pants and two Major wins, he is always fun to watch.

Bonus player to watch would be Mike Weir who is the only Canadian to win a Major.
