Abraham Ancer holds a one stroke lead after three rounds at the Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston. He started his Sunday off strong with three straight birdies and finished the day with a 6-under 66.
Ancer may hold the lead going into Monday, but the biggest name on moving day had to be Bryson DeChambeau. He is coming off one his best wins in his career last week at the Northern Trust Championship. DeChambeau was paired with his “childhood idol” Tiger Woods, and bested him by 5-strokes on Sunday.
Tiger played very well with a 3-under 69, but DeChambeau finished the day strong with two birdies and an eagle to post an 8-under 64. “There were some tee shots that I left a little right, and it was just a little nerves,” DeChambeau said. “It’s Tiger Woods, guys. It was fun.” Tiger and DeChambeau had been in the news lately for possibly taking two of the final four Ryder Cup spots. There is a chance we can being seeing these two paired together as teammates in France last September.
