Bryson DeChambeau started his round Sunday with a 4-stroke lead at Ridgewood Country Club. He made birdies on his two holes leading him to an easy win at the Northern Trust. He seemed to have everything under control and did not allow the rest of the field to catch him.
DeChambeau finished the day with a 2-under 69 and 18-under for the tournament. Tony Finau was the closest competitor, but the lead never seemed to be in jeopardy. With the win, DeChambeau moves to number one in the FedExCup standings and looks to be great choice for the Ryder Cup. With the second place finish, Finau also looks like he may have a chance to make the team.
The next FedExCup event will be held at the Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston. The field will be even tougher next week. There may be some top players in trouble making in through to the BMW Championship.
