The Hero World Challenge took place from November 30th to December 3rd, and it was Woods’ first tournament back. Well, he absolutely killed it! Woods finished with a T-9 and shot rounds of 69-68-75-68. He may have finished ten shots behind winner Rickie Fowler, but he did manage to beat Dustin Johnson by eight shots!

Oh yeah, coming into the tournament Tiger Woods was ranked 1,199th in the world. After the Hero World Challenge, Woods is now sitting at No. 668!

Overall it was a solid outing by Tiger Woods, and he was very happy with his performance. Here is what he had to say:

Golf Digest

“I’m excited,” Woods said on Sunday. “This is the way I’ve been playing at home and when I came out here and played, I was playing very similar to this. Not quite hitting it as far, but I had the adrenaline going and overall I’m very pleased.”
