USGA Announces a 300 Yard Par 3 at The 2016 U.S. Open

The USGA held media day for the 2016 U.S. Open on Monday where they announced that they intend to have a 300 yard par 3. The USGA did this before in 2007 on the same hole and will once again try to get players to pull out 3 woods and drivers on the par 3.
