Is XGOLF the Next TopGolf

With the overwhelming success of TopGolf  I’m wondering if putting the state of the art XGOLF simulators in bars is going to be the next big thing.

Who is XGOLF

XGOLF was founded in 2005, and has sold over 3,000 simulators in 10 years. It is incredibly realistic with what they call 3D Collision. It is a really geometric reaction to a ball hitting an object such as a tree. One of the most unique features is stance area that actually tilts under the golfer’s feet to simulate the lie on the virtual course. The tilting stance plate will provide uphill, downhill, and side hill lies or a combination of both.

Where do find them

They are just starting to open up in social settings, but some are also combining it with golf instruction if you so desire.

There is one opening next month, but there are a few scattered around.  The newest one is a bar opening in Lafayette, Louisiana and just to give you an idea the hourly rate is $40.00, but that can be split between the members of your group. It is billed as an indoor virtual bar.

Should be interesting to see how this turns out.
