Tiger Woods may be struggling on the course by all accounts, but it’s great to see he isn’t letting that stop him from winning off it. Woods spent a remarkable a $26,ooo on a pair of Batman-themed shoes to benefit OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Oregon.
The shoes, a pair of Nike skateboard low-tops were designed by a patient at the hospital: Isaiah Neumayer-Grubb.

As the hospital is located in Oregon, within close proximity to the Nike headquarters, it regularly partners with the shoe behemoth to benefit its patients by designing clothes and shoes especially made for the hospital.
So far, the partnership has raised $13.8 million.
For Woods, it’s simply a good thing to see him in the news for something other than golf failures and injuries. In no way, shape or form would I, nor should anyone, even imply that this is simply for pub. It’s simply a really cool story with really, really cool shoes.
