Zach Johnson Tied for Lead After Second Round at HTOC

As you all know, the first tournament of 2015 is underway in Hawaii at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.  Russell Henley got off to a hot start in round one, but Zach Johnson came out blazing in round 2 and is now in a four-way tie for the lead.

Johnson putted for birdie on every single hole in round two.  I can’t remember a time I ever was putting for more than six birdies in a round.  I guess that’s why I’m sitting here writing this and not playing in professional golf tournaments. Johnson ended with a 6-under 67.

The other story of the day was Jimmy Walker.  In 2014, Walker had an outstanding first half but slowed down as year went on. It looks like Walker is back to his good play as he shot a second round 68. After round two there is four-way tie for the lead with Henley, Walker, Bae and Johnson.
