If I told you that a PGA player was going to pull out of the PGA Championships on the first day, 99% of you would have probably guess Tiger Woods.

Well, I hate to break your heart, but it turned out to be Matt Kuchar, who was on our list of favorites to win. (What the hell do we know?) US alternate, John Huh, was able to take Kuchar’s place in the field and is included in the group with Justin Rose and Louis Oosthuizen.
Ranked number 6 in the world and with enough points in the bag, this shouldn’t affect Kuchar’s place in the Ryder Cup. We just need to recover fast and make it in time for the last major golf event of the season.
