Sergio Garcia followed up his brilliant 61 on Friday with a three under par 67 and is at fourteen under and still in control at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio. On a very gloomy day of rain, thunder and lightning, Garcia was all smiles as he heads into Sunday’s final round. Rory McIlroy is tried to make a charge at Garcia with a third round four under par 66 and is within three shots of the lead at eleven under par. McIlroy continued his superb play and the two should be an interesting paring on Sunday.
First round leader Marc Leishman sits alone in third after a round of two under par and is at nine under five back of Garcia. Adam Scott had the round of the day with a five under 65 and is tied with Justin Rose and Keegan Bradley at eight under par. Brandt Snedeker with his third straight two under 68 is seventh some eight shots back of the leader. J.B. Holmes and Henrik Stenson are tied at five under par.
