Birdies “O” Plenty at John Deere Classic | Two Tied for Lead

William McGirt fired a five under par, 65 and Zach Johnson shot a four under par, 67 on Friday and is tied for the top spot at twelve under par, at the John Deere Classic. McGirt is looking for his first win on the PGA Tour, and Johnson is looking to keep his brilliant play alive at his home tournament.

Three are tied for third at eleven under par, which include; Steven Bowditch, Johnson Wagner, and Brian Harman.

Steve Stricker is at nine under par, after a round of 65 on Friday. Stricker is looking for his first win on tour since 2012. Defending champion, Jordan Spieth fired a seven under par, 64 to get back into contention for the weekend. Will there be a birdie brigade on moving day Saturday?
