As I’ve gotten older, the one thing in life that I seem to never have enough of is time. With a two year old and another one on the way soon, scraping together four to five hours to play a round of golf with the buddies is rare. Finding a couple of hours to head out to the range directly corresponds with my latest lotto ticket purchase. The thing is this – I love this game and I don’t want to suck again, so keeping my game afloat as long as possible is my ultimate goal right now.
Thus, I’m gonna break down some great ways to keep your game sharp and maybe even help you improve in some places. Best place to get this done is at the good ol’ driving range!
Stretching The Body & Mind
Look, most of us aren’t in our early twenties, where we can jump out of bed onto a golf course and knock a 300 yard drive without tearing some body part we didn’t know existed. So, get your stretch on and get your muscles ready to remember all the training you’re about to put your body through. This stretching time also gives you an opportunity to get yourself mentally ready for this practice time, so you make the most of your time at the range.
