Forum Member Pudd:

Today is the day my clubs arrived. As many of you already know, Ping WRX does phenomenal work. My clubs arrived with individual tags for the irons and hybrids. They checked the loft and lie for every single club that they sent. There isn’t a better feeling knowing that the clubs you’re putting in play are exactly on spec. Ping also includes covers for each iron, an often overlooked aspect. Not that I’ll use them, but they make sure that your clubs aren’t damaged or dinged up in the process.

Here is a reminder of what I ordered:

3, 4 hybrids – TFC189 Tour Stiff graphite, -1/2″, D3 swingweight
5-UW irons, Black Dot, -1/4″ (stock length of G25’s, and i20’s), Pxi 6.0 shafts
Standard loft
UTx grips

If you’ve seen these irons in person there’s one thing that describes them. HUGE. They are the biggest irons I’ve ever laid eyes on. That’s not a bad thing. I’ve played large irons before, but nothing like these. Offset is massive also. I’m definitely looking forward to getting out with these and seeing what they have to offer.

I’m very excited about the hybrids. They suit my eye so well and I was getting crazy distances out of the regular shaft during the fitting, albeit the dispersion was not the best because of the shaft.
