If you are a regular to my reviews you are about to hear something you have probably already heard many times before. Whenever I review a Titleist club I make the comment on how these clubs are generally directed at individuals who are a little more competent on the course, and not for the beginning player who is looking to improve his or her game. While there are some exceptions to the rule, for the most part this should be cemented into your brain as you search for the right clubs. The Titleist Forged 695MB irons are a series that is not an exception, as these clubs are not for you weekend warriors who play at the local country club for seven bucks a round, but for the already established player who is looking to take a forged, muscleback iron and use it to hit the ball right on the button.

The Titleist Forged 695MB irons are not very forgiving clubs, and they are going to give tremendous amounts of feel and feedback. If this doesn't sound like something you're looking for, forget these clubs right now. However, if you're a higher skilled player who takes pride in your performance on the course and are looking for an iron with an optimized center of gravity then the Titleist Forged 695MB irons may strike your fancy.
Just like many of the clubs that Titleist manufactures, the 695MB irons feature a traditional, throwback appearance that is quite appealing. While it's not the flashiest looking set of irons on the market and are certainly not intimidating, they are a very no-nonsense series of clubs that are some of the cleanest I have seen. Overall I felt the feel and performance of the Titleist Forged 695MB irons were above average, but they come at a price. Inexperienced players beware, but advanced players be excited.
