When I first started getting into the golfing world I noticed that many of the most popular Titleist products were golf balls. The company didn't excel in producing clubs and other equipment. However, since then they have become an industry leader in innovative and successful products. One of my favorite new Titleist drivers is the 910D3, which combined old-school tradition with modern innovation to create Titleist's first adjustable driver.
The first thing anyone will notice with the Titleist 910D3 Driver is that it is an all-black beauty. While some companies may try to sell you on white drivers, claiming they're easier to align, I still enjoy the looks of an all-black. To me it looks much sleeker and professional, and sells your look to the rest of the course. However, looks alone aren't going to get you onto the fairway any easier, so performance is what's really important. Surprisingly I found that the performance of the Titleist 910D3 met expectations and more.
While many people today are looking for drivers that will send the ball 30 yards further than the rest, that isn't the goal of the 910D3. This isn't a club that will blow you away with its power or ability to perfectly place the ball. As with most adjustable clubs, the 910D3 is great choice for personalization on the course. It will give you a close replica to the drivers that can send the ball soaring towards the green but with the ability to customize it to your personal liking. Of course you're going to lose the power numbers that you might be able to get from a specialty driver, but obviously Titleist's selling point here is that this is going to be your club in every sense of the phrase.
