The Cleveland Mashie Hybrid is built with the same "lighter, longer" mantra as the rest of Cleveland's metalwood line. The Mashie Hybrid features a super-lightweight Miyazaki shaft that's one-fourth of an inch longer than standard. The reason for the longer shaft is to help players increase the speed of the clubhead. The Cleveland Mashie Hybrid also features two sole rails to help reduce turf interaction and make the club more playable from some of the tougher lies.

One of the things that isn't remarkably popular about the Cleveland Mashie Hybrid is the appearance. It almost looks like an unfinished club, but it certainly doesn't perform like one. It was named to the Silver Selection on Golf Digest's 2011 Hot List, and has been praised for its innovation and performance.

Cleveland has taken its very popular lightweight technology and applied it to a new set of irons: The CG16 Black Pearl irons feature an 85-gram steel shaft. This is significant considering that, on average, most steel shafts usually weigh about 110 grams in this category.

Cleveland also used same laser-milling technique used on these irons that they generally use on their wedges. The purpose of this is to create a distinct surface roughness between the grooves.

The graphite shaft on this set of irons feels especially great. It's easy to hit and doesn't hurt the hands. Often times with irons I find that the grip on the shaft feels uncomfortable, even through my gloves. With the Cleveland CG16 Black Pearl irons this isn't ever a problem.

Cleveland is known for their impressive wedges, so deciding to use similar technology on their irons is a brilliant move. The Black Pearl irons uses the same face technology that Cleveland uses on its top wedges, which makes it easier to strike the ball with accuracy.

The Cleveland Classic 1 BRZ putter is one of the top new putters of 2011, but it certainly has an old-school flair. Many of you may recognize the Cleveland Classic name, as there have been clubs released previously as a part of this series. However, the Classic 1 BRZ is new for 2011 and making an impact on the greens all over the world.

Listed on Golf Digest's 2011 Hot List Gold, the Cleveland Classic 1 BRZ putter is certainly earning a solid reputation. While it is not the most innovative club on the market, it is certainly one of the highest performing putters you can buy. It is also considerably cheaper than many of the other top putters granted a gold standing on the 2011 Golf Digest Hot List.

The best feature of the Cleveland Classic 1 BRZ putter is its performance. As mentioned above, the innovation is not top of the line, but that doesn't prevent this club from performing well above the competition. It also looks, feels and sounds great on the course.

Cast from 17-4 stainless steel, this blade is hand polished with a bronze finish to reduce glare. That gives it a more old-fashioned look, and helps it stick to the 'Classic' name it was given. The face insert is made of a low-density material so that a greater percentage of the putter's mass can be relocated in the heel and toe to improve stability. Any golfer knows that putting is one of the most important, and most infuriating parts of the game. But with the added stability included in the Classic 1 BRZ putter, the user will feel solid and secure on the green.

The insert included with the Cleveland Classic 1 BRZ putter is coated with a copper-infused exterior layer to offer a softer feel. A single white sightline bisects the flange on all three models. Many of the hybrids I have been reviewing recently are all part of a manufacturer's new series of clubs. I have had opportunities to look at drivers, woods, and even hybrids for many clubs of the same set. The Cleveland Launcher DST has been described by many different people in many different ways, but my personal favorite was when this driver was compared to a rocket launcher. The brilliant imagery here is perfect, as the ball flies off the face of the club with such force it would seem almost like a weapon. The wedge is one of the most underrated clubs in the game of golf. Rarely does it get the recognition it deserves, which is why companies like Cleveland do not receive necessary credit for manufacturing such fantastic products. I have used a variety of Cleveland wedges in the past, and after using the CG11 I feel that this one is certainly going to stand up to the rest. Whenever anybody asks me for a recommendation on any brand of wedge the result is usually Cleveland, and I am getting the impression that the CG11 is not going to force me to change my answer.

One of my favorite aspects of the Cleveland CG11 is the overall feel of the club. Cleveland introduced their CMM metal, which blends microscopic carbon spheres to help create a different metal that is much more solid than most clubs, yet the CG11 still feels like a normal club. It's that old cliche you've heard a thousand times, the Cleveland CG11 gives you the best of both worlds. This fancy scientific improvement is one of the strongest assets of this wedge, and many other Cleveland wedges as well, and gives the user a very comforting, solid feel at impact.

Cleveland is not generally the type of brand that shows off fancy gizmos or designs. While it is an innovative company, these are very traditional looking wedges. The CG11 is a confident looking club that has a professional atmosphere about it, but more importantly it performs well. As I mentioned before, it has a very solid feel to it, but it also gave me good amounts of feedback, which is something I prefer from a wedge. Overall I would highly recommend the CG11 wedge, just as I would recommend almost any other wedge that comes from Cleveland's shelves.

While the specifications are impressive, as I stated before, the aesthetics are my favorite part of this particular club. The sparkling chrome completes a simple, yet elegant look that is both impressive and majestic. The satin hitting area on the face of the club is another beautiful aspect of the Cleveland CG Red Irons, and make it one of the best looking irons on the market.

The performance of the Cleveland CG Red Irons is almost as impressive as the way the clubs look. This particular set of irons is going to appeal more to the better players, but that doesn't mean lesser skilled individuals should keep their distance from the CG Red Irons, but it certainly will appeal more to the higher skilled players. Cleveland has included their Micro-Cavity Technology, which are small cavities underneath the topline of the club that allow the weight to be positioned elsewhere, this small yet useful design gives the user a much higher level of forgiveness on the court, and we all know how much that is appreciated.

A lot is always made out of the appearance of a club, and the Cleveland HiBORE XL driver is certainly a good looking piece of equipment. It features a bullet-styled design that has been described as "swooped-back." While the XLS is considered an upgrade over the XL, there is no question that this particular club is a significant step up from the even earlier model, the Cleveland HiBORE. The XL features a precision cast aerospace-grade ultra-thin titanium alloy body with a high-grade titanium face. It also follows the same general design as its predecessor, though the XL has a much deeper face.

The look and feel of the Cleveland HiBORE XL driver is somewhat staggering at times. The appearance is different from most standardized clubs, making the user somewhat uncomfortable when first using the club. However, the performance and specifications of the HiBORE XL driver are certainly impressive, but my favorite aspect of this particular driver is the appearance. While many traditionalists are going to frown towards the bullet-shaped clubhead, but I think it is a fabulously designed club that has a modernized look. The overall looks and performance of the Cleveladn HiBORE XL driver are top-notch, and worth taking a shot on.
