Nike SQ SUMO
June 11th, 2007 | Written by Editor | Category: Golf Equipment |

Manufacturer: Nike Golf
Released: February 3, 2007
Building upon it’s success as Golf Diget’s 2006 Driver of the year, Nike has built an even better SUMO this year by increasing the Moment of Inertia from 4650 g cm² to 4950 g cm² which basically means that drives no go even longer and straighter. The key to the Nike SUMO Driver success is the PowerBow which redistributes the weight and center of gravity lower and towards the back of the club head.
Key Features:
- New Nike Powerbow Design - moves 71% of the clubs weight to behind the center of gravity resulting in a higher moment of inertia.
- Professionally used by - Michelle Wie, KJ Choi, Justin Leonard & David Duval.

I just bought a Nike driver the SQ Sumo. I used to have a Taylor Made Burner. For some reason I always had straight drives with the burner but with the newest SQ Sumo I hit the ball from left to the right. Can somebody tell me what is the reason for this???

The main problem could be that you need to take some time getting used to the new shaft of your driver. Especially with the SUMO which comes with the ultra stiff shafts that comes with the SUMO! I will be incorporating a video clip section into this site soon, so you can film yourself and upload to youtube, then put it under your BP profile so we can help you out a little bit better. Good Luck and let us know how it goes!
