A lot is always made out of the appearance of a club, and the Cleveland HiBORE XL driver is certainly a good looking piece of equipment. It features a bullet-styled design that has been described as "swooped-back." While the XLS is considered an upgrade over the XL, there is no question that this particular club is a significant step up from the even earlier model, the Cleveland HiBORE. The XL features a precision cast aerospace-grade ultra-thin titanium alloy body with a high-grade titanium face. It also follows the same general design as its predecessor, though the XL has a much deeper face.
The look and feel of the Cleveland HiBORE XL driver is somewhat staggering at times. The appearance is different from most standardized clubs, making the user somewhat uncomfortable when first using the club. However, the performance and specifications of the HiBORE XL driver are certainly impressive, but my favorite aspect of this particular driver is the appearance. While many traditionalists are going to frown towards the bullet-shaped clubhead, but I think it is a fabulously designed club that has a modernized look. The overall looks and performance of the Cleveladn HiBORE XL driver are top-notch, and worth taking a shot on.
