The Cleveland CG12 Zip Wedges, contrary to popular belief, is not a continuation from the CG11 series that Cleveland released earlier, and are in fact much different. The design and appearance of the CG12's are certainly different from many wedges from other manufacturers. Some golfers prefer the difference while others find it frustrating. Personally I have never been a huge fan of Cleveland wedges, but the CG12 is forcing me to reconsider, at least temporarily.
Cleveland has manufactured the CG12 Zip Wedges with a bit of a rounder look, similar to the rest of their wedges, but in this case it is not nearly as extreme. This particular club looks more like the types of wedges you see from developers such as Titleist or TaylorMade, and is not the typical Cleveland wedge. I am one who appreciates this apparent nod towards change, as the Cleveland wedges in the past have not been my favorite. The Cleveland CG12 Zip Wedge is a solid choice that will provide plenty of spin and control for any user looking to maximize their game.
