The wedge is one of the most underrated clubs in the game of golf. Rarely does it get the recognition it deserves, which is why companies like Cleveland do not receive necessary credit for manufacturing such fantastic products. I have used a variety of Cleveland wedges in the past, and after using the CG11 I feel that this one is certainly going to stand up to the rest. Whenever anybody asks me for a recommendation on any brand of wedge the result is usually Cleveland, and I am getting the impression that the CG11 is not going to force me to change my answer.

One of my favorite aspects of the Cleveland CG11 is the overall feel of the club. Cleveland introduced their CMM metal, which blends microscopic carbon spheres to help create a different metal that is much more solid than most clubs, yet the CG11 still feels like a normal club. It's that old cliche you've heard a thousand times, the Cleveland CG11 gives you the best of both worlds. This fancy scientific improvement is one of the strongest assets of this wedge, and many other Cleveland wedges as well, and gives the user a very comforting, solid feel at impact.
Cleveland is not generally the type of brand that shows off fancy gizmos or designs. While it is an innovative company, these are very traditional looking wedges. The CG11 is a confident looking club that has a professional atmosphere about it, but more importantly it performs well. As I mentioned before, it has a very solid feel to it, but it also gave me good amounts of feedback, which is something I prefer from a wedge. Overall I would highly recommend the CG11 wedge, just as I would recommend almost any other wedge that comes from Cleveland's shelves.
