The Callaway FT-IZ Fairway Wood has one of the most aerodynamically impressive designs I have seen on a set of woods this year. The sleek, stylish design of the clubhead is truly revolutionary, and I felt that it greatly extenuated the overall production value of the club. It gives the user predictable, consistent ball flight that never forces the user to fight themselves out on the course. This is greatly appreciated by amateurs and experienced golfers alike, as we all know just how much the mental aspect comes into play out on the links.

One of the potential downsides of this club is what I loved so much, the design. Users are calling the triangular head-shape distracting and unnecessary, but I felt it made the club look great and really gave me an extra bit of power on my swings. My only negative reaction was to the excessive amounts of feedback you got from the club, which I felt was an unnecessary addition to this otherwise productive wood. However, I felt that the large sweet spot really made it hard to miss with this club, causing me to give it a can't miss rating, literally.
The bottom line with the Callaway FT-IZ Fairway Wood is that you are getting a club that is going to send the ball flying right off the club. Users looking to add power and performance from their fairway game don't have to look much further than the FT-IZ. However, if you aren't a fan of unusual club designs than this particular club isn't for you. If you don't care about the level of aerodynamics in the head of your club, the Callaway FT-IZ Fairway Wood is a positive choice with positive results.
