Tiger Woods is finally on his way back!

Mark Steinberg, Woods’ agent, had this to say about his client’s latest doctor’s visit:

He got a nice report and is allowed to proceed.

He can do as much as he needs to do. Tiger is going to take this very, very slowly. This is good, but he plans to do it the right way.

It has been six months since the 14-time major champion received fusion surgery on his lower back, and about eight months since he dropped from the Dubai Desert Classic. Needless to say, he’s been away from the course for a very long time.

However, Tiger Woods has made sure to keep his Twitter followers up to date on his progress. He posted videos of himself playing on August 31st, October 7th, and October 15th.

As you can see, the videos show Woods’ beginning with pitching, then moving on to iron shots, and finally making his way to using the driver. We will see what is next for Tiger Woods, but this is very a promising sign that we could see a strong return from the veteran very soon.
