Jason Day added THE PLAYERS Championship to his long list of impressive victories on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass. Day had a pretty uneventful round as he carded a two over 38 on the front nine, but added three birdies on the back to shoot a one under 71.

The win extends Day’s points lead on the number one in the world and he figures to be the early favorite for the U.S. Open. The win is Day’s 7th win in his last 17 starts worldwide.

Justin Thomas had the round of the day as he shot a seven under 65 to take the clubhouse lead at 10 under par. Ken Duke was the story of the week as he backed up his 65 on Saturday with an even par round of 72 and finished at 10 under par.
